Ross Cox (1793-1853) was an Irish pioneer who worked for the Pacific Fur Company and the North West Company. This book is one of the most important historical accounts of the later years of the North West Company. It describes the rivalry between the Hudson’s Bay Company and the North West Company, as well as the Indigenous tribes of the Columbia.
