HARDCOVER. 682pp, Beautifully rebound tall thick folio quarterbound in cream color paper boards over brown leather fore-edges and spine/hinges, raised bands, gilt title to spine with date at bottom, 2 folding maps, 63 plates. mild wear and soiling to paper boards with some toning to edges, fore-edge slightly bumped but clean. Fresh endpapers. Title page repaired well and laid down with signs of closed tears. Minor tearing to first map with 1.5"x2" section missing from bottom edge of second map. 63 plates included, missing plate at page 609. Tear to plate at page 502, ring stains to pages 145 and 425. Text remains legible, plates clean with light toning to adjacent pages. Good+. Item #130098
